Back on track with our weekly update of all the new additions and updates to the existing content here on the Mastertronic Collectors Archive website so you can see what we’ve been doing at a glance. While the previous week was relatively quite while we worked behind the scenes on some major bug fixes following a server crash, we’ve been really busy over the last week bringing you plenty of new content and updates…
Anthony Guter’s Website Progress
Progress is coming along with the last few pages from Anthony’s Mastertronic site. Due to the complexity of Anthony’s site we’re having to make extensive changes to the original code and page layout which is taking a little longer than we had hoped. 8 of the last pages are being worked on simultaneously with the intention of merging them into a single article, but with the old site having a vast number of pages cross linked to each other, we are having to spend time restoring these to all the new locations on our site which is taking the most time.
We are hoping to have the first new page up next week and the final article done 1-2 weeks later which will be an in-depth history of Mastertronic.
Reviews
We’re back on track with game reviews with a few more added over the last week, this time covering a selection of formats:
- Planet 10 (ZX Spectrum)
- Vegas Jackpot (Commodore 16)
- Vegas Jackpot (Commodore 64)
- Vegas Jackpot (Dragon 32)
Checklists
We’ve been making progress with some of the existing checklists on the site adding some extra content to them, and we’ve added a brand new one for one of the more under-appreciated formats supported by Mastertronic…
- Amstrad – we’ve now started adding the main Mastertronic section to the list, with the first batch of entries covering game numbers up to IA0100.
- Commodore 16 – new review links added
- Commodore 64 – new cover art and review links added
- Dragon 32 – NEW list added to the site, and our first to feature titles from Melbourne House and Virgin Games
