Sales of Sega consoles took off in 1988 and Mastertronic began serious advertising campaigns. This one was in Zzap64, February 1988 – interesting in that we were now trying to sell consoles to people with a programmable computer, a complete reversal of the state of the market from 1982.
The portly gentleman was one of our sales managers, Milan Stajcic, who left us not long after to go into business in his Yugoslavian homeland. The attractive young lady was our lovely receptionist Sharon. I have no idea who the kids were.
