
Despite the hardware originally being designed by Atari as a games machine, Commodore took the Amiga and turned it into a huge success both as a successful games platform and a productivity tool. Mastertronic released a wide selection of games throughout most of their labels including their re-release lines and it was also well supported by Virgin Mastertronic as well.
As most know, the Amiga also formed the basis of Mastertronic’s Arcadia short-lived line of arcade cabinets.
