Mastertronic Collectors Archive Digest - 1st November 2026

It’s been an incredibly busy time for all of our team here at the Mastertronic Collectors Archive. As well as seeing the huge growth in our YouTube channel (which I’ll come on to in a minute), we’ve been writing more content than ever. As well as even more articles, expanding our checklists and adding new ones to the site as well as all our reviews, since the start of September we’ve run no fewer than three themed weeks on the site including our most recent Horror Week that has just finished today. Not only that but as we now have our YouTube channel we’re linking that into our themed weeks so the videos link in with each theme.

As well as celebrating our Horror Week, it’s been quite eventful over on our YouTube channel as we’ve reached a rather special subscriber milestone over there. As you all know, the original Mastertronic range had 310 titles in it, and is often referred to as their “310 range”. Well, a few days ago we reached 310 subscribers on the channel – not too bad for a channel that was only launched back in May! We don’t want to stop there though, so if you’re not already a subscriber, please visit the channel using the link above and when we hit 500 subscribers we’ll be starting a few special giveaways…

And finally, while on the subject of YouTube, we’re putting even more effort into the channel now. More of us on the team are capturing gameplay footage and on a personal level I’ve been using a HDMI capture card that I have used in the past for our other channel for gaming content. Combining this with some of my mini consoles from Retro Games, it should allow me to capture even more content even quicker. In fact, I’ve already got footage on hold for the next few months worth of videos so we might even start releasing even more on the channel!
