A large number of people have got in touch with us over the last couple of years since we launched the Mastertronic Collectors Archive website asking how they can get involved or support our work. While we have a strong team working behind the scenes to create the site and bring you loads of new content every week, there are plenty of ways you can be a part of what we do and help out…
Get Interactive!
Every review on our site has the ability for you to add your own scores and we’d love to know what you think of all the games we review on the site. But how do you do it? At the top of every game review, there is a summary box with our scores. Underneath that there is a bar which represents the reader score. Just position your mouse on this and you can move it to set your own score out of 10. Once you’re happy with it, click the mouse button and you’ve added your own score! Just make sure you’re happy with your rating as it can’t be changed afterwards.
If you want to add your own thoughts as well, just scroll down to the bottom of the review and you’ll be able to add your own thoughts and comments. We’ll reply to as many as we can and who knows… a lot of the original developers have been involved with the site and some of them might even comment on your posts too!

One thing we really do appreciate is sharing content we post. Whether you have an account on Twitter (yes, we’re always going to call it that!), BlueSky, Facebook or any other social media site we’d love it if you could share our posts there. If we post anything on our own social accounts, likes and shares mean the world to us, and the same for our video content. Coffee Time!
As you will have seen here on the site, we recently set up a page over on ko-fi for the Mastertronic Collectors Archive. We have done this for two reasons. Firstly, we wanted to try to use this to try to help fund the website and cover our running costs if any of our readers were able to make small donations. We’re certainly not expecting all of you to, but if you are able to it would not only help with our site costs but in the long term we’re hoping to enhance what we do both here on the site and our YouTube channel with more licensed music, improved video production and more. You can even use the ko-fi page to put in your own requests for what games you’d like us to review next on the site!
The key thing driving this as well is that we wanted to remove all advertising from the site and make it as self-sufficient as possible without relying on any third parties. We’ve already removed all our affiliate advertising and moving forward the only banners you will see are from friends of the website who offer Mastertronic products or items related to Mastertronic.
Finally, our ko-fi page will also offer plenty of original content that you won’t find here including a lot of behind the scenes material about the creation of this site. What better way to support us than be a part our growing team? As the site expands and the scope of what we cover here grows, so does our need for more people to make sure we can cover everything properly. Whether it’s writers to help with articles and game reviews, or people to assist with research, image scanning, sourcing screenshots or anything else, there’s plenty of scope for people to help out behind the scenes.
