It’s been a long time since we posted any of our weekly site updates for the Mastertronic Collectors Archive, so we thought we’d try bringing them back to give you all a round-up of all the content we’re adding to the site each week. As it’s been a while, rather than listing everything I thought I’d take a quick look back over the last 12 months since we launched the site at just how much is on here and then we’ll bring you updates going forward every week.
Anthony Guter’s Website Progress
We have almost completely transferred Anthony Guter’s website over to our server now with just 9 pages remaining. 8 of these are being worked on and should be live within the next few days, leaving one final piece looking at the history of Mastertronic.
Reviews
Over the last 12 months our team has been working hard to bring you a huge selection of reviews covering a wide selection of formats and a number of different Mastertronic labels. As a result, we now have a total of 60 game reviews on the site across the following formats: Commodore 64 (23), Commodore 16 (18), Vic 20 (10), BBC (3), ZX Spectrum (3), Amiga (1), Commodore 128 (1) and PlayStation 2 (1).
Checklists
We now have a large number of lists spanning different Mastertronic ranges as well as individual gaming platforms. All of these lists are a “work in progress” and are being updated most weeks with new entries, links to reviews, additional cover art, details added and more. Indvidual formats covered so far are the Amstrad, BBC/Electron, Commodore 16, Commodore 64, Vic 20 and ZX Spectrum.
In terms of specific ranges, we now have lists covering Americana, Infocom, Mastertronics Added Dimension (MAD), and Ricochet. And for their media labels we have lists for both Mastersound and Mastervision.
Press Coverage
We have now moved all of the press content from Anthony Guter’s website, as well as adding additional pieces we have found ourselves so in total the press articles index has over 110 items of press coverage featured.
